Guantanamo’s still hiring!
Now, doesn’t that sound like a lovely place to be a librarian?
I guess I could make my threats to run away to an island a reality!
(And, I note, they have a ridiculously long job description/list of qualifications. I would have thought “willingness to show up” would be good enough.)

yeah, also ‘maintain highest level of ethical conduct’ may be an issue depending on how one defines ethics.
There are far better, more convenient, less … icky islands to run to. Just let us know when you get on the ferry, so we’ll know about when to expect you.
It’s amazing the list of requirements for even the sanest, most normal federal job.

My eye was drawn to the negotiable salary. Really? I always thought the salary schedule was pretty regimented in federal work.
