On reference
To follow up on that last post:
It’s not that the information isn’t findable; I’m sure it is, perhaps in one of the half-dozen books on Germanium chemistry and superconductors that I’ll try taking a look at tomorrow. It’s more that the combination of being faced with a new term, an unfamiliar topic, resources I’m still hesitant about and a demanding patron tends to lead to… well, panic. And panic makes it hard to work, especially when they’re shaky and you’re shaky and everyone’s in a hurry
I wish I knew more science, and had more hard questions to practice on.
There’s an essay in here somewhere on how one learns how to do reference.
